HITC: The biggest Asian diaspora music festival in the world is successfully held every year spearheaded by 88rising.

Who doesn't know HITC (Head in the Clouds) Music & Arts Festival? The biggest Asian diaspora music festival organized by 88rising. This Asian music festival is one of the most extensive promotional media to introduce Asian music in the United States. HITC Music Festival is also known as the house of Asian hip-hop and R&B musicians who have been widely recognized by music lovers around the world.

HITC music festival as a whole is organized by 88rising labels. 88rising is a music label founded and managed by Jaeson Ma and Sean Miyashiro in 2015. This music label is widely considered to have pioneered the development of Asian hip-hop and R&B music in the United States.

“The fact that we can bring all of these people together — it’s so diverse. To see everyone enjoying this experience together, that’s the purpose of Head in the Clouds,” says Miyashiro, 37 di HITC festival on Sept. 22.

The founder of 88rising said that HITC Music & Arts Festival was organized to demonstrate Asian rap performance in the United States. Furthermore, this music festival was formed on a mission to support and amplify the work of Asian artists, immigrants, and underrepresented voices in music. In 2020, this music festival was organized with a new purpose: to raise funds for COVID-19 pandemic charities and campaign against the rise of anti-Asian sentiments.
